CROISSANT BREAD PUDDING

This indulgent dessert is perfect, easy to make and out of this world delicious!
Ingredients
- 4 to 5 croissants, cut in half lengthwise
- 1/2 cup half & half
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 to 3 ounces almond paste, grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter your baking dish and place the bottom halves of the croissants. Spread the grated almond paste over the bottom halves and then place the tops of the croissants on top.
- Whisk together the half and half, milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt. Pour the egg mixture over them and using your hand, press them down a little bit for every piece to absorb the liquid. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Take off the foil and bake for another 20 to 30 minutes until the croissants are puffy and golden brown.
