GRILLED BACON & CHEESE-STUFFED JALAPEÑO BITES

Ingredients
- 12 green jalapeno peppers
- 3 tablespoons La Victoria Salsa Suprema
- 4 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups Mexican Blend cheese, shredded (or your favorite shredded cheese)
- 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon, finely chopped
Instructions
- Cut each jalapeno in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds and the veins. Place each pepper cut side up on a work surface and trim the bottom of the pepper, if necessary, using a sharp paring knife, to ensure that the pepper sits flat.
- Combine the La Victoria Salsa Suprema, cream cheese, and shredded cheese in a mixing bowl and stir to combine. Combine the breadcrumbs and bacon in another bowl and stir to combine. Stuff each jalapeno half with a tablespoon of the cheese mixture. Sprinkle the tops of the stuffed peppers with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Grill the stuffed jalapenos, cut side up, over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes or until the jalapenos are tender and the cheese is melted. Serve hot.
