GRILLED CHIMICHURRI NEW YORK STEAKS

Seared on the outside, succulent on the inside, and bursting with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Dry Sherry
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
- 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 6 Boneless New York strip steaks, about 8 ounces each
Instructions
- Whisk all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and add the steaks. Marinate at least 3 hours or overnight. When ready to cook, remove the steaks from the marinade and place the marinade in a small saucepot. Bring the sauce to a full boil. Boil for 2 minutes, then remove from the heat.
- Preheat your BBQ to high heat. Pat the steaks dry, then grill the steaks to the desired doneness. Serve the steaks with the sauce.
