Ingredients
- 1-ounce Vodka
- 2 ounces Caramel Liqueur or Butterscotch Schnapps
- 1-ounce espresso or strongly brewed coffee
- Sea Salt Caramel (or prepared caramel + 1/4 teaspoon sea salt)
SEA SALT CARAMEL:
- 1 stick (4 ounces) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- Two or three liberal pinches of sea salt
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, caramel liqueur and espresso.
- Shake until well chilled and strain into a martini glass. Drizzle a small amount of caramel over the top of the drink, then sprinkle with a little fleur de sel.
FOR THE CARAMEL:
- Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve warm.
