Ingredients

  • 8 slices applewood smoked bacon
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil, shiny side up.
  2. Dredge the bacon on both sides in the brown sugar and arrange the
  3. slices so they do not touch. Bake until the bacon is golden and caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  4. Use tongs to transfer the bacon strips to a cooling rack and allow the excess fat to drain.
