GRILLED CHIMICHURRI NEW YORK STEAKS

GRILLED CHIMICHURRI NEW YORK STEAKS

Seared on the outside, succulent on the inside, and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dry Sherry
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 6 Boneless New York strip steaks, about 8 ounces each

Instructions

  1. Whisk all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and add the steaks. Marinate at least 3 hours or overnight. When ready to cook, remove the steaks from the marinade and place the marinade in a small saucepot. Bring the sauce to a full boil. Boil for 2 minutes, then remove from the heat.
  2. Preheat your BBQ to high heat. Pat the steaks dry, then grill the steaks to the desired doneness. Serve the steaks with the sauce.
