CRANBERRY MULLED WINE
There’s just something so comforting and festive about mulled wine at the holidays.
Ingredients
- 2 oranges, halved
- 2 lemons, halved
- 2 limes, halved
- 1 (750 ml) bottle Merlot, Shiraz or Beaujolais
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 1-inch slices fresh ginger
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 4 cups Apple Cider
Instructions
- In a large stock pot, squeeze the juice of the oranges, lemons and limes, then put the squeezed fruit into the pot as well. Add the wine, cinnamon, ginger, sugar, cranberries and apple cider. Bring to a slow simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Taste and add more sugar, if necessary.
